Book II: Fera — In Progress
As quick as lightning flashes, so come the changes in Cristiana's life. All she has known is revealed to be a lie when her parents whisk her off to a remote mountaintop. Even then, her mother and father only hint at the truth before a rabid animal infects them. Just thirteen years of age, Cristiana must risk the dangerous forest alone and travel to civilization. She hopes to locate a cure and prays that whatever or whoever caused her parents to flee does not find her.
Beasts are soon the least of her worries. So, too, does she quickly realize her journey is more than about discovering the truth.
It's about surviving a madman.
